Praying the Word for Yourself & Your Man

A very special friend of mine gave me this bookmark a few years ago. It acts as a prayer guide. One side is for yourself and the other is for your husband. There's also a prayer for Every Day that is to be done in addition to the Days of the Week. (I'm sharing this one today) Next week, I'll share each individual day ("every day" next week ... starting Sunday!!)

It can be reversed if a man is praying for his wife. We need our men praying for us, and we desperately need to pray for our men.
I love it. It makes such a difference when we spend time in His Word, and in prayer every day.

I need this. Every single day. I really do. And I wanted to share it with you ...

Every Day For Yourself
"Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it springs the issues of life." Proverbs 4:23

Love the Lord
Deuteronomy 6:2 TNIV
... so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.

Humility
James 4:6 TNIV
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
                "God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble and oppressed."

Titus 3:1b-2 TNIV...to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

Every Day for Your Husband
"The closer we are to Jesus, the closer we will be to each other."

Love the Lord
Deuteronomy 6:5 TNIV
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.

Resist the Proud
James 4:6 TNIV
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
                "God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble and oppressed."

Have a wonderful week! I guarantee spending time with Him will make your days brighter.

Things to do on a cold, rainy day

Stay in your pajamas, wrapped in a super soft blanket, with a good book and an endless supply of hot coffee. And don't forget a warm, cozy fire.

Have a movie day with your old favorites. A few of my choices would be ...

Pride and Prejudice
One Night With the King
Seven Pounds
City of Angels

Try several new recipes to serve for lunch and dinner.
I love, love, love The Pioneer Woman :)

If you're feeling motivated, clean out your closet. I mean really clean it. Get rid of those things you never wear anymore that have been hanging in the back corner for over ten years. Then organize the rest so they're easily accessible.

Read your favorite blogger's posts and leave a comment! It'll make their day!!

All we need now is a rainy day;)

Today, I was invited to do my first interview on a sister writer's blog. You can read her review of Broken Butterfly and my interview here ...

I hope you'll check it out!! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by,
